Asian Textile Heritages at Confluence •  20+

I took part in the touring exhibition, Confluence •  20+, showing heritage textiles making and their contemporary interpretations from China, Indonesia, Bangladesh and India. The exhibition travels from Milan Design Week to Hong Kong City Hall, Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and Chicago Design Museum.

As part of the community engagement programs, I hosted a batik workshop in Hong Kong and a styling workshop in Chicago, during the exhibition.

Confluence • 20+ is a monumental roving exhibition series showcasing a wealth of collaborative works by the best talents in the Hong Kong design scene. It is a stage for creative collisions - celebrating the co-evolving and interdependent communities in Hong Kong’s creative industry. These exhibitors are true innovators that draw upon resources and inspirations from Hong Kong and beyond.
