Building a New Platform for Textile Legacy

I presented the project The Textile Atlas at the TECHSTYLE 3.2 Forum hosted by Centre of Heritage, Arts and Textile (CHAT) on the topic of Building a New Platform for Textile Legacy.

The two-day international discussion forum brought together leading figures with a wide range of expertise to discuss the present and future of textile legacy. Sharing their experiences and innovative ideas of preserving and revitalising textile heritage, artists, designers, museum curators, subject specialists, and cultural practitioners representatives included Koike Kazuko (Co-founder and Member of Advisory Board, MUJI and Director, Towada Art Center, Towada), Lidewij Edelkoort (Dean of Hybrid Design Studies, Parsons School for Design, New York), Errol van de Werdt (Director and CEO, TextielMuseum, Tilburg), Johanna Engman (Curator and Industrial Heritage Coordinator, Textile Museum of Sweden, Borås), Antonia Syme (Director, Australian Tapestry Workshop, Melbourne) and Cosmin Costinas (Executive Director and Curator, Para Site, Hong Kong).

My participation to the event also included exhibiting a collaborated hand-quilted map made by LivingBlue Bangladesh.
